What Methods Are Used For Shipping?Updated 10 months ago
At Monument Shutters, we prioritize ensuring your shutters arrive safely and promptly. Here's a comprehensive overview of our shipping policies to help you understand our process:
Shipping Methods
Ground Shipping
- Carriers: For smaller shipments, we primarily use FedEx, UPS, or USPS. All of these shipments are sent via ground service.
- Delivery Locations: Most ground shipments are delivered to your driveway or porch. However, delivery location is ultimately at the discretion of the driver. If they encounter any obstacles, they may leave the shipment at the street.
Large Orders
- For larger orders, whether due to quantity or size, we utilize LTL shipping. Our primary LTL carriers include R&L, Southeastern, and Estes. The choice of carrier depends on the location, size, and weight of the shipment.
Packaging and Handling
- Common Carrier Shipments: For shipments sent via common carrier, we take extra precautions to minimize damage. These shipments are fully enclosed in wooden crates, secured with staples and screws to ensure maximum protection.
- Lift Gate Service: If you require lift gate service to unload your shipment, the associated lift gate charge will be added to your invoice.
Delivery Times
- Standard Orders: On average, standard orders ship within 15 business days during regular volume times**
We are committed to providing the best shipping experience for our customers and strive to select the best carriers with the least damage history for all shipments!
